Here at VCC's School of Music we are fortunate
to have an outstanding group of individuals dedicated to making
your learning experience as inspiring, rewarding, artistically
challenging, and efficient as possible.
Our faculty members
are in constant demand as performers, resident artists, educators,
producers and advisors around the city and, quite frankly, across
the country.
Turn on the radio and you're likely to bump into
many of our instructors' recordings. Go to a jazz festival,
there we are again. Go to a symphony concert, ditto.
If
you drop by the School of Music office, you'll find staff ready
and willing to serve your academic and registration needs, but
not only that, these people are musicians themselves, they know
what you're into, they go to shows and they partake in many
of our School's musical activities.
Our students come from all
kinds of musical and cultural backgrounds and are the lifeblood
of this place. Walk the halls, hear them sing, play, jam and
get a sense of the collaborative artistic spirit of this place.
Together, students, staff, faculty and administration bring
you the most innovative, eclectic and rigorous music program
we know of.
